We know it may feel like the July 2019 deadline is still a while away but its important landlords make a start by assessing the insulation requirements in their rental homes.
The summer months can be a good time to do this between tenancies or when carrying out other maintenance jobs on your rentals.
Arranging an assessment with insulation professional is a good start to understand what you need to do to get your rental up to standard. They can also provide you the paperwork to provide with tenancy agreements to demonstrate your home meets the requirements. If retrofitting insulation is necessary it’s a good idea to do this sooner rather than latter to get it sorted before the July 2019 deadline.
