This week’s edition of Tony’s View looks at data showing a 1% boost to our population in the past year from net migration changing direction by a record number this past year. The news is good for employers, mixed for the Reserve Bank of New Zealand -and therefore for borrowers, and positive for house prices with upward pressure coming also on rents.
