The changes will implement nearly 100 new amendments to the current residential Tenancies Act\u00a0 \u2013 and it is crucial to be across these changes that will impact a landlord\u2019s legal obligations to their\u00a0tenants. Notice period changes, the ability for tenants to make minor changes, and new enforcement measures to take actions against landlords who are not meeting their\u00a0obligations are just a handful of what to expect.<\/p><p>These new rules will future proof our changing rental market as we continue to see increasing demand for rental properties and longer-term tenancies.
