In some Auckland areas, we\u2019re seeing the median weekly rent return to the levels we experienced at the same time last year. Or, in some cases, even noting Auckland rents decreasing. <\/p>\n

In May 2025, the average weekly rent for three-bedroom rental properties in Kingsland was $775. Compare this to $850 in May last year and you\u2019ll see an 8.8% decrease in rent prices.<\/p>\n

In Mangere, the median rent for a three-bedroom home was $710 per week, a 1.4% increase from $700 the year previous. <\/p>\n
